Sergeant Tamara Calhoun rarely exposed her emotions.

She was tough, invulnerable, and usually the only hope in the face of certain death to her team. No one questioned her, and everyone respected her. A refused order from her was a plead for humiliation.

Her days were spent doing exactly what had been programmed in her. To everyone, her determination and fiercely brave actions were strictly because of just that.

No one could have ever imagined that maybe it was all just a distraction.

Behind the cold, blue eyes laid a story that was continuously shoved back and brushed off, like it didn’t deserve any time from her, even if it was to be a vital puzzle piece to why she was the way she was. She ignored it; even if it meant replacing the memories with an empty blackness that gripped at her shattered heart every lonely moment that she let pass by.

She desperately had kept every day as time consuming as possible. Even when the game was not being operated at night or on holidays, she would gather several of her men and go off to fight some more. It had been made into her life.

Even though she knew what was going on, and what she was doing, she continued.

She had been broken, and nothing could ever fix her.

Yeah....honestly, I was just tesing my writing her here.
